CSHL Authors’ Publications Database
The Brooklyn Institute of Arts and Sciences established a laboratory at Cold Spring Harbor in 1890. The first paper, published by Davenport here in 1892 was “The germ-layers in Bryozoan Buds”. During the height of the Carnegie Institution of Washington era, 29 papers were produced in 1918 by CSHL’s 53 researchers. In 2010 alone 221 papers were published by a community that has grown to 317 Ph.D.s, MD.s, and other researchers. The full history of CSHL author’s publications is available through the CSHL Authors' Publications Database. The database provides abstracts and full text where available.

The outstanding news coverage includes deep back files and up-to-the-minute stories in national and regional newspapers, wire services, broadcast transcripts, international news and non-english language sources. Use the included LexisNexis Company dossier module to retrieve detailed company information and financial performance measures or identify and compare companies matching specific criteria. Thia product also provides access to the renowned Shepard’s Citations Service for all federal and states court cases back to 1789. It is a standard element in many research and information literacy programs.

Archive and Library Website Refresh
The week of April 16th, we will be launching the new CSHL Library and Archives websites. The archives site will be dedicated to serving the external community at large, with focus given to the individual collections. Meanwhile, the library site will remain focused on resources and services for CSHL's researchers and students.
